Thanks to the UK Apartment Association (UKAA) we recently hosted webinars about ‘Performing Property Management Visits’ remotely. The events proved to be very well attended and below is a brief summary of the highlights with the all the relevant links – including a link to the webinar recording, just in-case you missed it.

During these events we reviewed the current MHCLG ‘Guidance for Landlords and Tenants’ whilst considering ways to:
- Enforce social distancing during COVID-19 pandemic.
- Identify maintenance issues with remote tenant photo upload and audit-trailed e-signatures (EU legally binding compliant).
- Maintain, document and communicate tenancy compliance standards are being delivered.
- Ensure tenants still feel interest is being taken in their occupation with any problems reported electronically.
- Ensure BtR sites are given some security about the state of their property via automated PDF report sharing tools.
- Ensure BtR sites are more prepared for any works that need carrying out, or make contingencies for the future.
- Prevent back-log of Management Visits building-up during social distancing period.
Sample Report
As covered during the webinar, performing remote management visits can identify and document a variety of issues with tenant/resident sign-off, from health and safety compliance to prevention of permissive waste issues.
