Here at Inventory Hive, we are always looking to release improvements to the software, and after listening to feedback from our users, our latest software update includes two enhancements, as well as a lot of under-the-hood efficiencies.
Camera Update
Following feedback from our users, we have introduced a device-specific camera shortcut into the app, to allow you to use some of the high-end features of your smart devices’ camera, alongside the efficiencies of our well-regarded, existing multi-snap feature. Put simply, you can quickly access the ability to take multi-snap photos and load them in one go, or use device-specific enhanced features, such as enhanced zoom or wide-angle shots.
Please note that functionality will be device-specific and incorporates as many device-specific features as the device is permitted to integrate, by the device manufacturers.

Diary with Maps update for Custom Reports
We have updated our Diary with Maps premium add-on to incorporate the scheduling of Custom Reports to the feature as well as the standard inspection report types. This will allow users of the add-on even more flexibility in scheduling any additional report services that they offer.
App Update Required – PLEASE READ
Our browser version updates have been pushed-live already – so there’s no action required there (happens automatically). An update is required to install the latest features on your iOS or Android devices though, which can be accessed here for convenience: iOS (Apple) Appstore found here and; Android Google Playstore found here.
Please note that due to the nature of the changes to the software, all users will be required to update the app in order to continue to use the app. Please ensure that you update your app version (if auto-updates are not installed on your device) otherwise you will not be able to log back into the software via the app.
