We’re ready for SCA!

As of the 14th of September this year, Strong Customer Authentication is being rolled out. This has been implemented by a new European Law with The Payment Service Directive II ruling that bank security is to be improved.

For every day transactions this will effect payments you make and so it’s likely you’ll be asked more often for two proof points as regards your identity (whereas at the moment only one is required) when making a payment. For our platform it only effects your initial subscription setup/payment – with any ongoing payments made against the card (in order to maintain your subscription) remaining unaffected by this ruling.
