Update v.1.10.18 – Supercharged Paperless Check-outs & Much More!

On Sunday 11th August 2019 we release our latest update (v.1.10.18) which introduces a truly market leading paperless check-out process. There’s also a host of general ‘Qualify of Life’ upgrades and additions under the hood – like uploading third party reports/documents and adding industry accreditations to the footer of reports. An update is required to install the latest features, which can be accessed here for convenience: iOS (Apple) Appstore found here and; Android Google Playstore found here. All the highlights are shown below…

Check-out Update Highlights

The paperless check-out tenant feedback process has been redesigned to create specific workflows for capturing approval and feedback from different tenancy types (eg Single, Joint and HMOs) with an effortless audit trail:

  • Users can now manually define which report the current checkout is compared with via the report settings modal.
  • Major redesign to most paperless tenant approval links & PDF layouts, in order that both views mirror each other for greater transparency.

  • Approval screen: Added missing comparison meter readings / keys / appliance photos.

  • Approval screen: Added missing comparison report / property notes.

  • Approval screen: Added missing comparison photos / 360’s.

  • Approval screen: Added field for tenants to feedback on any missing rooms/items during the approval process.

  • Users can now respond to tenant general notes during the approval process (no longer just specific to individual items).

  • Updated gallery view to include all comparison photos from checkout reports.

  • Gallery view has an updated layout, sorted by date.

  • Added the ability to exclude photos from report cloning process.

  • Simplified item maintenance flagging process.

  • Added more options for item maintenance responsibility [landlord / insurer / other].

  • Step 1 of the paperless process has been removed for inspection/check-out reports (avoids the risk of auto-timeouts suggesting tenants have approved their report).

Tenant Check-out Approval Link Sample

^ The above link demonstrates an example of the new tenant check-out approval screen layout. It enables tenants to clearly view ‘before’ and ‘after’ descriptions made by the inspector (agent/property manager) and themselves at each stage of the process. It also allows for direct photo comparisons to be viewed from a user friendly high definition gallery.

New Check-out Sample Report

^ The above link introduces our latest check-out sample report – showcasing our market leading audit-trails from tenancy start-to-finish. What’s more, it’s all contained inside one intelligent comparative document.

Third Party Report Uploading

By popular demand we have now introduced the ability to upload reports created on third party platforms (eg inventories etc created elsewhere). What’s more, there’s no upload restriction, or extra cost for using the feature – it’s open to ALL subscribing users. File types allowed include: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, PDF, DOC, DOCX (Max size: 15MB).

Industry Accreditation Logos

Users with the ‘Custom Branding’ add-on can now introduce the logo of their industry body at the footer of their reports by visiting > Settings > Company Information > Custom Branding > Edit > Accreditations. Check the box for the industry body you’re part-of and it will show in the footer of the report. Accreditations currently available are ARLA, AIIC and UKAA. Get in-touch if you’d like us to add more recognised providers.
