First Things First – Please Update iOS & Android Devices
We generally recommend that you set your device to automatic App updates, as that ensures your device is always on the most up-to-date version. On iOS (Apple) you can set automatic updates by visiting Settings > iTunes & App Store > Updates (switch to green). On Android visit Google Play Store > Tap the Hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) on the top left > Tap Settings > Tap Auto-Update Apps. Then Say Goodbye to Airplane Mode!
As part of our recent GDPR security enhancements and improved online usage speeds in v.1.10.7 we’ve made further in-roads in simplifying the online/offline user journey. Our new ‘Go offline‘ button replaces the old process of forcing the App offline via Airplane mode. The two simple benefits of which being.
1. Quicker and easier access to switching offline (no need to visit Airplane mode options via settings).
2. Devices automatically sync with the Hive cloud before going offline – all at the click of a button.
