Important Update – v.1.11.8: System Upgrade and FREE Scale & Schedule add-on

At Inventory Hive, we never stand still and we’re always looking for ways to make our software better for our users. As part of our development, we’ve undertaken a system upgrade, which is designed to make the App more efficient and ultimately will make future enhancements and features easier to implement.

We’re also making our Scale & Schedule add-on free to all commercial (WORKER) plans as standard. These powerful tools are designed to help users create multiple reports in one-go and effortlessly submit them at the click of a button or two. We’re sure this will help our users save considerable time – particularly property managers experiencing a backlog caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. For inventory clerk providers, these tools are a great way to efficiently setup and allocate reports to team members – avoiding repetition of individual tasks (see summary of features below – Scale & Schedule Add-on).

System Upgrade

We’ve upgraded our software platform with a view to the platform being prepared for lots of new features and functions that are planned on our development roadmap for the year, but there are also consequential benefits to the App such as increased photo resolution which increases the sharpness of the standard images taken and saved within the software.

It is important to update your App to experience these benefits.

Scale & Schedule Add-on

Our Scale & Schedule tools will supercharge your ability to create multiple reports at once. We’ve worked with universities, built-to-rent and student accommodation providers for years to hone these effortless tools that drive staff efficiency to another level:

  • Create multiple check-in, interim visit and check-out reports in one go.
  • Serve important pre-arrival documentation within your template set up.
  • Assign multiple reports to individual users in one go.
  • Track progress of reports behind the scenes with quick-view access.
  • Schedule reports to email out at scale on pre-defined dates in the futures.

This was previously a paid add-on to the software but we’ve decided to add this to all WORKER subscriptions as standard going forward with no extra cost, as a way of helping our users deal with a backlog of reports caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to give something back to add value to our customers who have struggled during this time and all WORKER accounts will be updated to automatically add in this feature.

App Update Required – PLEASE READ

Our browser version updates have been pushed-live already – so there’s no action required there (happens automatically). An update is required to install the latest features on your iOS or Android devices though, which can be accessed here for convenience: iOS (Apple) Appstore found here and; Android Google Playstore found here.

Whilst this is not a specific requirement for your App to be updated in order for you to continue to use the software, our Custom Branded users are advised to install the App update immediately. We would urge all users to update to take advantage of the update features in any event.

Apple (iOS) users who have older devices that are still running iOS 12, will be unable to update their Inventory Hive App further from this point. This will affect older Apple devices which are either discontinued or out of Apple’s security updates. In order to continue with the best experience of the software, we would recommend that users run the App on an alternative device, preferably one which is capable of the most up-to-date iOS version.
