Update – Tenant Self-Inspect Virtual Visits

On Sunday 8th November, we updated the web-based software to streamline the virtual visit version of our interim reports. On the 23rd March, we demonstrated our ability to adapt quickly to the changing market for our customers by releasing the first remote self-inspect virtual visit functionality on the market, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, with a little more time to streamline the process, and based on the comments and feedback of our customers, we have released a version with improved functionality, to include:

  • A mandatory requirement for the tenant to include General Overview photos to each room/space within their report;
  • A mandatory requirement for the tenant to include photos of each maintenance issue highlighted and added into the report;
  • An updated and ‘cleaner’ look to the final report with full data to verify the tenant photos;
  • Updated and relevant access compliance questions to cater not only for the current COVID-19 pandemic, but designed for permanent future use in the ‘new normal’.

Webinar Recording

We have run a 30 minute webinar to introduce the features and give you a run down of the full functionality of the process and give some hints and tips as to best practice.  View the recording below:

Toolkit

We have put together a free toolkit to accompany the update to help you hit the ground running – this is a downloadable ZIP file which includes:

  • 1x COVID-19 Risk Assessment Template (Word document);
  • 2x Tenant Infographic (1x Word document & 1x PDF version);
  • 1x Copy & Paste Notes Template (Word document);
  • 1x Sample Report (PDF).

Support Article

We have put together a step-by-step guide including screenshots on how to best put together a report using the enhanced features of the report, which include links to the toolkit documentation and webinar recording.  This will allow you to use the feature right from the off.

What you need to do

At present, no updates are required to use this functionality.  As it largely linked to our InventorySign tenant feedback platform, the changes have been made to our servers and you can use this functionality right from the start.  There will be a minor update to the app in due course to amend the wording of the Access Checklist for app-created reports – look out for our next news release!
