Property Inventory App Update – v1.7.3

We’ve listened to suggestions from our customers and have rolled out the following tweaks to the platform. Got a suggestion/issue – please visit our new searchable helpdesk and submit your issue there!

Ability to enlarge current photo within room Item modal

^ This feature is available within our property inventory software via desktop, tablet or mobile device on Android and iOS (online or offline).  Please note:  Adding multiple pictures via the library in ‘one go’ is only supported on iOS devices (not Android).  However, you can of course add multiple pictures on either platform via our in-app ‘Take Photo’ button.

Revised property defaults plus default management improvements

^ Items within rooms now flow from ceiling down to the floor.  We’ve also auto added new items.  Such as, ‘Smoke Alarms’ shown in the ‘Entrance/Hallway’ and ‘Landing’.  Don’t forget that users on ‘Worker’ price plans can also personalise their item order and defaults via Settings > Branch Details > Property Setup Defaults.  You can watch our video on back office customising features from the video below:

Increased modal transition speeds when offline

We’ve made some improvements to the speed at which our property inventory app works offline!  Buzz through your property inventory reports in offline mode with ease.  Simply say ‘Yes’ to working in offline mode before going out to a property (see picture below):

Updated canned descriptions library

^ Our canned descriptions library has undergone some further improvements.  You can now record new items in detail (eg Keys).  Our ‘Dispute Avoidance’ columns have been rolled out to all common items typically found in a residential property.  These additions allow users to create property inventory reports with a great balance of descriptions and photographs.  Allowing for even more robust reports.

Enhanced orientation for Samsung devices

The orientation of pictures from portrait to landscape now corrects itself automatically on Samsung devices.
